Abstract：The adjustment of specialty structure at universities should accord with changes of industrial structure. At present, the existing problems of undergraduates' specialty structure at general universities in Henan are listed below: not meeting the need of economic and social development, highly duplicate specialties, excessive blindness in professional setting and lack of foresight for new majors. To solve those problems, this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures to further adjust and optimize undergraduates' specialty structure: education administrative departments should strengthen guidance of professional settings at universities, specialty structure adjustment should be social needs oriented, and universities should establish dynamic adjustment mechanism of specialty structure.
