Abstract：During the Republican period, the team of North China industrial workers grew and their political consciousness increased gradually, thus played a significant role in political struggles. This paper mainly focuses on North China industrial workers' status and role in strikes, sympathy movement, antiimperialist and patriotic campaigns before the Anti-Japanese War.
