Abstract:The geotemperature and geopressure are the main components of the underground energy system. In order to find out the distribution and influencing factors of the geotemperature and geopressure of the Yuwang block in Laochang mining area, the characteristics of the geotemperature-geopressure system in the study area were analyzed with the horizontal and vertical distribution of reservoir pressure and geostress and the coupling with geological structure trace from a standpoint of the geothermal and geothermal gradient characteristics of Yuwang block. It was found that the geothermal field in the study area was characterized of north-south differentiation. The geothermal gradient in the south was higher than 4 ℃/100 m, while that in the north was about 2 ~2.5 ℃/100 m, which might be related to the distribution of large faults. The Yuwang block belonged to the medium-high geostress area, which caused higher reservoir pressure in the coal measure strata. The reservoir pressure suddenly increased at a depth of about 750 m, which probably related to the development of a better separation layer in the deep. In conclusion, the regional distribution characteristics of the reservoir temperature and pressure system in the Yuwang block were the coupling results of various factors such as stratum, structure and hydrology.
