Abstract：Developing green mining and ecological mining are not only the real practice,but also the basis and direction of implementing ecological civilization construction in mining industry. Based on the connotation and practical significance of ecological civilization,the role of mining industry in national economy and existing problems are analyzed at first,the guiding significance of ecological civilization to the development of mining industry,and the meaning of green mining and green mines from the perspective of ecological civilization are explained,and the development path of green ecological mining( with concept,system,technology and qualified personnel as the key) is put forward at last.
