摘要:唐代诗人的创作实绩与诗学理论的建树不相称已成学界共识,但白居易却是个例外,他不仅是卓有成就的诗坛巨匠,对诗学理论的阐发亦具有相当的总结性,而且是研究唐代诗学、乃至整个中国古典诗学无法绕过的一环;因此,对白居易诗学思想的研究,也就成了白居易研究的热点问题之一。但以往对白居易诗学思想的研究往往是观乎其内,而无超乎其外,没有对白居易诗学思想的源头进行有效的探索,所以对白居易诗学思想的研究尽管场面热闹,却终隔一层,总有说不圆的地方。为弥补这一缺陷,我们拟对白居易诗学思想的儒家经典来源作一追溯,考镜源流,以对白居易的诗学思想有一个客观公正的理解。

Abstract:It is commonly agreed that poem theory development in Tang Dynasty is far less significant compared to the massive production of poem of the same time. Bai JuYi, however, was not only a great poet, but also developed poem theory of that time significantly. He is thus an inevitable character to study the poem theory in Tang Dynasty, and even for the overall poem development of in ancient China. Previous work, however, mainly focused on Bai's poems themselves, while largely ignored the source of his poem theory. Thus, previous study may look flourishing but are superficial indeed and are not self-sound. In this paper, we aimed to study the source of Bai's poem theory, thus to better understand his theory itself.
