On the origin of the capitalist system of ecological crisis

Abstract：The development of industrial civilization has led to increasingly serious ecological crisis, which has inspired the awakening of human ecological consciousness and the exploration of ecological civilization. The private ownership of capitalism, the second contradiction of capitalist society and capital' s infinite pursuit of surplus value are important reasons for the emergence and expansion of ecological crisis. The capital logic deconstructs the ecological logic in terms of space and time, which further intensifies the contradiction between human and nature. These capitalist cultural “soft factors”strengthen the capitalist system and capitalist mode of production, further exacerbating the ecological crisis. Therefore, only a thorough reform of the capitalist system can fundamentally solve the ecological crisis.
