Abstract：The concept of rural filial piety has considerable significance for family stability and social harmony. Unfortunately, due to the factors of the family, society and education, the concept of rural filial piety is facing the serious challenges. Therefore, people must inherit the excellent traditional culture, advocate gratefulness education, enact relevant laws and regulations, create a sound environment of respecting for the elderly so as to remodel the rural filial piety concept and provide a powerful guarantee for con- structing socialist harmonious society.
